Community Fundraiser for Turkey and Syria
Once again we were delighted to host the Residents of Belmont Rd on Saturday the 25th Feb as together we raised money for those impacted by the Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
We bought our neighbours unwanted items, baked and ate cake and other produce, and enjoyed each others company.
Highlight of the day was watching some Turkish belly dancing - a few brave souls even had a go! As of 5th March we have raised £2000. If you wish to contribute then please donate on this justgiving page.

Community Quiz and Curry Night
Saturday 16th July 2022
What a great time we had! Around 60 of us battled it out to see who could pinpoint that city on the map, name the film or recognise the car emblem. Debates could be heard over what was a real sport 'hand rounders' or 'chess boxing'? Delights when guesses turned out correct and groans when dead certs were wrong. Hats off to Chris and Gill for being excellent quiz masters!
5* cuisine was provided by 'Awesome Aunty' with a Vegetarian Option.
Shout out to Holly and Christopher who mixed us non-alcoholic cocktails, my fav was the lime and apple!
And the winners of the quiz were .... drum roll .... Eaton & Co

The day ended with singing the National Anthem, dancing the Conger and singing 'Songs of Praise' in the carpark.
The afternoon included the following:
"Elizabeth" Sponge Bake Off
Fancy Dress Parade and Best Dressed House.
Traditional Sports Day races, games, face painting
Free Cream Tea and soft drinks
Treasure Hunt, quiz and local history display.
