We like to be proactive and show the love of Jesus to the local community. Our regular weekly activities reach out to all ages from babies to seniors.

Hold regular services at a local residential home for elderly people

Go Carol Singing in the Street!

A group from the church take to the street, often on a cold December evening, to sing carols which we hope are a sweet sound in people's ears! We take the opportunity to distribute leaflets telling people of the Christmas services which are at Belmont Road and to assure them that there will find a warm welcome. If people feel able to they can also give money to a good cause. Last year we collected money for the local hospice

Take Part in Operation Christmas Child

In early November, as Christmas fast approaches, we think of children on the other side of the world who will not be receiving that visit from Father Christmas. We hope to make their Christmas better by filling shoeboxes with simple gifts. The church has a co-ordinator who checks that the boxes contain suitable items and who then drops off the boxes at a designated drop off point established by the organisation 'Samaritan's Purse'

Fundraise for our Annual Harvest Appeal

Every October, we raise money to support various projects throughout the world, helping those in need. These projects are usually run by the BMS. The money is raised through the church running a social evening on the Saturday followed by a family service on the Sunday morning.

Support Missionaries

We are currently supporting a Missionary who serves in Chad. This is Rebecca North, a Nurse who represents the Missionary Society BMS. You can follow her blog here .
