60th Anniversary

2015 is the year where we celebrate 60 years of Belmont Road Baptist Church. The Church was officially opened on 18 June 1955. Since then 231 members have been through the church. There has been 82 Baptisms thus far. The first infant dedication was in 1957 and there has been a total of 54 so far. The church has been registered for weddings since 1990 and has held 14 to date. We will be celebrating our Diamond Anniversary by holding a:

Family Fun Day on Saturday 20th June 1-4pm this will include: garden games, bouncy castle, face painting, refreshments and competitions (fancy dress, baking, hanging baskets, guess the number of sweets in a jar etc). Anyone is welcome to join us for the day

Celebration Service on Sunday 21st June 10.30am this will be led by Geoff Colmer from the Central Baptist Assosciation

Bible Exhibition During the Autumn term we will be holding a Bible Exhibition for local schools

Scarecrow Festival This will take place on 10 October and people will be invited to make Scarecrows which represent any decade between 1955 - 2015
